html and css coding question?

i want my template that i'm using to have the page navigation (home page, cool links, my artwork etc) to stay yellow font once the page is selected, can anyone suggest what css properties I use for this?

Just so once the page "cool links" is opened the "cool links" option turns yellow. I'm a beginner so please help!

you need to add the css to it and make text-color: yellow
also but links to yellos and rollover yellow
also are you using dreamwever or just basic code?
