I used this page when I started out and it taught me a lot. It's a good beginners playground. It's call w3 schools and the link is. http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

I have found Boogie Jack's (http://www.boogiejack.com) to be very helpful. Not as comprehensive, but an excellent site for the beginner.

I have also heard w3schools and since there's another link here, might as well check it out too, thanks Nogard and QL (HI! :)). We really need to learn about these things if we are to surf the net most of the time.

I feel w3 is a good place to start learning. I started there and worked away to other places to learn more. You can build your first web site after you get done with w3.

This is very inspiring for me. I will be able to fulfill my dream when I can make my own site :)

I like learning the first steps and then playing with them to see what they do, and then learning more. It settles it into my brain better.

I like playing around with things also to see what I can do. It helps everyone to learn if they do that.

It's also good for learning what NOT to do, when vital information suddenly disappears from display, or your table loses something critical, and you're staring at it wondering what the heck you just did. LOL.

Oh, I wish I can have the time to do all that you're doing :(

Or here: www.htmlgoodies.com That's my favorite site. I love the way he assumes--mostly--that the readers won't know the first thing about HTML. He did assume that they knew what FTP was, though, and what an FTP client was, which sort of disappointed me. But DirectNIC.com explained it all to me very nicely, so it was all right in the end.

Yeah, htmlgoodies.com is a good site. It's a site you can go to even if you're a pro. Thanks for posting the link SweetCharity.
