Web Host Go Daddy Backs Out of IPO

August 9, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- After months spent planning for a public offering of its shares, Web hosting provider and domain registrar Go Daddy (godaddy.com) announced on Tuesday it had withdrawn its registration statement form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and had determined not to proceed with the sale of its stock.
