Can I view my website without buying a domain first?

Is it possible to see what your website looks like without buying a domain first.I'm still shopping around for the right host.I don't have time to waste money.

if you have the server set up, just run it on your LAN, then make an HTTP connection to it over IP.

so, if you put the server on the LAN and it gets an IP of 192.168.1.101, put "http://192.168.1.101" in the address bar to a browser, and you should be seeing your site (unless you have a networking or server problem).

I don't know how you have the server or your LAN set up, so I cannot guarantee this will work.

You can set up a microsoft office live site and upload your site on it after you set it up to advanced settings. Its for free, although they will want you to buy a domain, but you can get out of providing credit card numbers and stuff like that. Once you upload it your good to check it out,
