...in 48 hours? I have never gone this route, but I have no clue how to do this despite looking at it over this past week. I have to implement a basic MIPS assembler in C that parses a text file containing a simple MIPS program and prints out the binary/machine code into another text file. We are given a sample parser.c, list.c, hash table.c but weren't told how to use them. I have no resources to consult when doing this, I've spent 2 weeks searching google with nothing.

I wasn't given anything this complex in my previous computer organization class and this is our first project assigned so we have no homework or previous projects that built the knowledge required for this. I just started learning C and basic MIPS in my previous course 4 months ago and we only had to do basic C and MIPS programs but not an assembler!

I've tried hiring a tutor of which none are available at my school so I have no one to hire and I've tried going to office hours and I could barely understand the TA and was way over my head and no more hours are available.

I'm desperate.

Anyone have any idea of how to do this or anyone interested in being hired? Send me an e-mail.
