If what you are asking is how do you set up your computer so someone else can ask for "www.yourdomainname.com" and have it link to your computer from the internet, you need to be aware of a few things. First, you can't just "use" a domain name. You have to get it approved and licensed first. Otherwise domain name servers could point a valid website to yours instead, and that is illegal and called hijacking. Second, if you want your pc to act like a "host" you probably mean you want your pc to be a server. For that, you will need to setup your pc correctly. Third, for someone to connect from the net into your server, you're going to need more sophisticated security on your system, so that a user who comes to your system can't get anywhere except exactly where you want him to look. Fourth, you'll need to change your firewall to allow the type of traffic you want. There is probably a lot more yet.

However, if all you want is to have your computer connected to the internet, and have another computer on your LOCAL network be able to access the internet through your connection, then you just need to set up internet connection sharing.
