how to make a admin on windows 7?

when my dad tried to make me a admin whilst keeping himself one he went to change user type it said you may not have more than one admin is there something wrong or a way around it please help

There is only 1 admin..

You make someone a accout and give them administration privileges... Go to user accounts

when you get there click manage another account and then you see create another account and you either choose to be a standard account or with administration privileges
