account, how can I stop this? At the company I work for, my boss can view/catch all e-mail because he's the Admin. Lately he is receiveing e-mail from unknow people with our e-mail account.

For example, (this is only an example). Our company website is, www.cookietable.com. The employees have e-mails, for example, billt@cookietable.com and tracyd@cookietable.com.

Now, my boss is getting failure return deliever notification from unknown e-mail that do know work for the company, for example (greggbwb@cookietable.com)

Our web server is Godaddy.com. I called them and they told me they can't do nothing. That they have no way of controlling that.

I'm asking, can someone help me out with this problem? It's really frustrating to know someone is using our company e-mail account.

Please provide any input. Thanks!

You have an hacker on the account maybe he worked there b4 and had stolen the passwords to gain access to admin.

or there was a simple security hole in the website and some1 had gotten in

I'm not totally sure what to do but ill work on it

Your boss or systems administrator, should be able to address this.

They are the ones, who authorize the company email accounts and distribute the email addresses to everyone.

Whoever is in charge of the authorization account, needs to go through the email allocation files and verify everyone on it.

Names or accounts that can not be verified, need to be turned off. When this is completed, the administrator has to password protect the allocation and authorization program.

Also, get in the habit of changing passwords every thirty days and when there is a change in employees.

Nothing wrong with your domain. Everybody can put any email address in their mail client for reply address. If that mail failed to deliver it will return to the specified return address. So receiving email like this doesnt mean your server is hacked or somebody stole your password. To prevent receiving email like this change the settings of your mail server to bounce unknown user or to black hole
