'curvature'? see, in this photo,

the edges are round, and if you highlight the photo like if you are going to print it, there is a white border around it... how do you get that with Paint shop pro X?

With Paint Shop Pro X, you can use the background eraser tool (the pencil with the green dots) or free form selector tool (the lasso) along with the eraser tool (the pencil without the green dots) to erase areas of an image that you do not want, by clicking on the area with the tool and pressing the delete key after the area has been highlighted with a dotted line. I would try using the background eraser tool first, because that is the eaiest way to do it. If you choose to use the free form selector tool instead, it will only make the area a flat white, but it will break it apart so that you can then go back and erase it with the eraser tool. You will know when the area is transparent, because you will be able to see the gray and white checkerboard in the background.
