so msn and yahoo are still partnered but msn has its own adcenter...please further explain

AdCenter is just the name of msns search technology..just like googles AdSense.

The only thing that Yahoo and MSN are partners with is that the new version of each of their Instant Messengers will work with each other.

Everything esle ( Email, Web-pages, content, search, etc.) remains 100% separate.
