I am actually looking for the scooter equivalant of www.cars.com, www.autotrader.com. I don't care much for the 'bidding'& paypal hassle.

Try www.craigslist.org. It's pretty much listings organized by cities and categories and it is pretty popular you can probably find what youre looking for or at least something like it.

craigslist.org is very good for this sort of thing. there are also almost certainly regional forums in your area where people list this stuff for sale.
