Making your own Affiliate Program successful

Hello Guys,

I provide a service that many webmasters want and it seems like we are getting a fair share of business in and around the community but I thought it would be a great idea to get into other markets be offering an affiliate program.

I had some general questions:
1) What kind of software should I use?
2) How should I advertise my affiliate program?
3) How much should I pay out to my affiiliates?

Seriously speaking I have NO idea...

Evn I want to have a affiliate program for a dating site but I always thought getting a script like that would be expensive and so never gave it a try..

Anyone can answer the above questions and the tentative moolah you need to spend ??

Suggest researching from friends about their experiences with other affiliate programs so that you can get an idea of how much you're going to spend for advertising, affiliates, etc.
