I'm following a tutorial on Adobe Photoshop, and it told me to create a new layer and make it white. I made the new layer, but I have no idea how to change its color! Right now it's transparent. Please help!
I should've said I need to set an existing layer to white, sorry.
I'm not using CS, it doesn't have a paint bucket tool.

The easiest way to do this is when you have the new layer, use the PAINT BUCKET tool on the left and use the foreground color WHITE and click on the transparent new layer and BOOM it's WHITE!

The paint bucket is hidden inside the gradient tool. Right click on the gradient tool button, you will find it.
