This may be self-serving, but Market Motive is a great company for search engine optimization. They do consulting and have a content subscription service that will teach you how to do it on your own. The company is getting a lot of buzz right now because they have assembled the foremost experts in the internet marketing field to help teach companies how to perform internet marketing. Their SEO guy is Todd Malicoat who is well regarded among his peers and writes a helpful blog on SEO which I included in the links.
