Affiliate marketing is a good business in internet nowadays. A lot of people started to earn a bunch of money from internet. I was wondering is affiliate marketing consider a good marketing method. Actually I am an engineering student and I don't know much about sales and marketing. I got a question about sales and marketing. Is it worth to pay commission to a person who bring the sales to the company. The answers sure is worth for it. Since the person generate revenue for the company. When affiliate marketing become more common, will the affiliater get better money from the sales?
Any comments from you?

It is definitely worth it to pay commission to a person for bringing you sales that you would not have otherwise had, and for sales that you have to put forth no energy, money, or time of your own to get.

The issue is whether bad people foul up the sales format, and bad results will drive away the consumers -- OR -- the internet will explode with purchases due to the convenience of shopping from home.
God only knows, but I'm guessing the format will grow, perhaps exponentially when established reliable companies take it over (with store locatons to make coplaints heard in person)!!!
Most folks who get "burned" go away hurt, without getting satisfaction for their complaints, and just don't trust such sourses any more.
