networking site? Are affiliate-program ads sufficient? Hi. Is there a program that I should join to get the sort of ads that Myspace.com gets or what should I do? Right now, I'm affiliated with stores like Macy's and Amazon.com but will I make enough money with those affiliate programs or should I do a pay-per-click type of thing? And which pay-per-click program will make me the most money? (I know nothing is guaranteed but I guess I'm just looking for a good reputable company to go with.) Thanks!

I think imisidro's response was comprehensive and should be a great help to you.

There is yet another form of advertising that you'll be hearing about very soon, if you haven't already; it's called Pay Per Play advertising. How this works is you serve a "single" 5 second audio advertisement to website visitors on any and every page of your websites where it would be appropriate for a visitor to hear a 5 second audio ad.

This is easily done by placing simple javascript code that you paste anywhere between the tags of any web page where it is appropriate for visitors to hear an audio ad.

Again, you will get paid on a CPM basis, but one advantage that this form of advertising has over pay per click is that your visitors do not have to click on an ad for you to get paid.

There is no cost to sign up for Pay Per Play either.

You can find out more by viewing a short video:

All the best,
