...dentists? I'm trying to pick a dentist but would like to see some reviews on facilities, etc.

I've had good luck with Dr. Oogle (http://www.doctor-oogle.com). They require a $12.95 registration fee for lifetime access to reviews for dentists nationwide, or you can get a membership for free by writing a quality review (can't speak to that process myself - I just paid the 12 bucks).
A couple weeks ago, I started experiencing pain with a wisdom tooth that should have been extracted a long time ago (I'm 28). I hadn't been to a dentist in more than 5 years due to a very negative experience with my last dentist (he was not a nice man). I used Dr. Oogle to find a new dentist who has been absolutely fantastic. Reviews specifically mentioned that she was good with phobic patients, and she really is! When she referred me to an oral surgeon to have the problematic tooth extracted, I also looked him up on Dr. Oogle to make sure he was okay (the tooth was extracted yesterday, and yes, the oral surgeon was great, too).
I always thought that going to the dentist had to be painful and nightmarish, but I was wrong. You just have to find the right dentist, and Dr. Oogle can help. They also have extensive forums where you can get dental advice from real live dental professionals (although the most common advice on the forum is to make an appointment right away, no matter what the problem).
