Photoshop 2.0 elements resizing?

Every time I try to print a picture from elements it only prints a portion of the picture. If I change the attributes (say, to 4 in by 6in) I get a 4 by 6 picture of the corner of the top of the subjects head??? What am I doing wrong???

Your image could be larger than an A4 sized paper(210mm by 297mm or 2480pixels by 3508pixels)

I'm not sure if this works for photoshop elements...

But in Photoshop there is an option to print with preview, whereby you can check the option to scale to fit media. Meaning it will scale the picture down to fit the page. You can manually set the print size as well.

Note: all these are done in photoshop print settings not printer settings.
