Google's counterpart

What can you say about Yahoo's counterpart to Google's adwords/adsense, if I am not mistaken, it is called the Yahoo Publishing Network?

What can you say about it? Anybody here who has idea of the program?

I never used it or even heard of until a few days ago. I'm wondering how good it is?

I've heard of it, but usually in a sort of pooh-pooh, Oh-it'll-never-match-Google way.

Do you think it might actually be a competitor?

only time will tell if it gets the same sort of consumer traffic - I like the competition because it'll keep Google on their toes, but it's like the Yahoo auctions vs eBay - not that serious, I think... but a nice alternative!

If it doesn't kick sites off as quickly and for as vague and intangible reasons as adwords/adsense does, it's got a good chance.
