I can't see that you need to improve it. It is a clean, simple design that is easy to read.

The header graphic overflows the box around it. Is that intentional? Also if I widen my browser window the header graphic repeats - it looks messy.

Reduce the size of your post boxes - you have too many single lines that don't go the whole width and it again looks messy. On top of that, try justifying the text for a cleaner look.
