Do I need a degree to be hired as a programmer?

I'm a college student who's a little anxious to start gaining experience. What are my chances of getting hired anywhere with just the knowledge and certificates?

Do you mean dropping out of college? It may be quite hard to find a job then. Best that you stay in school and complete your degree.

In the meantime, you can try interning at local companies. Also plan your summers for work, not for play.
