...Pictures???????????????????????????????? I have tif picture files, I would like to convert them to jpeg. But, I can not do this so can anybody give some advice on how to do this. thank you very much =]

Google for and get a program called "xnview".
It's small, free and can read and write just about every format.

You can also use it to add effects, and edit etc.

Any graphics program should be able to do this for you. I use Photoshop. The normal Paint program in XP can open tif files and save them as JPEG files. Not as good as Photoshop but it does the trick
