Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is very high on my list of must-see movies. :) Unfortunately, my daughter has my car this weekend, so I have to wait. ARG.

Wow! Pirates of the Carribean 2! I love the first part and would definitely enjoy the second one. Surely, we'll not miss it.

if you haven't seen them, Cars and Superman Returns... tho Ratatoullie looks good (animated) as well!

I think I'm going to pass on Superman Returns. I'm not a big fan.

it's worth it, believe me.... even if you know nothing about the genre, it's a good romp for a few hours - great escape!

Okay, two months have passed now... did you all see Pirates 2? If so, what did you think of it? Especially the ending? (without giving the plot away if someone didn't see it yet) :)

Loved it! And the ending was a nice set-up for Pirates 3, which is coming out next summer. Did you stay for the little scene at the end of the credits? It was only a couple of seconds, but kind of amusing.

I love the two stupid pirates--the guy with the wooden eye and his buddy. They're so great. And the special effects on Davy Jones and the other ghosty pirates was really cool. I enjoyed it tremendously. I'll probably buy it when it comes out on DVD. :)

I just saw A Scanner Darkly. Boy, was that good. I wasn't prepared for it to end where it did. Like a punch in the gut, that was. Anyone else seen it?

No I haven't. I don't think I've even ever heard of it.

My son and I watched the DVD of "Lucky Number Slevin" last night. Excellent cast, and really good story. How can you go wrong with Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Sir Ben Kingsley, Stanley Tucci, Lucy Liu, and Josh Hartnett? LOL. Interesting plot twists.

No, I didn't! Well I'll surely have to look for that when I buy one! :)
