What did I do wrong? (Photoshop.. help please)?

I downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS2 from:

and well I don't know what to do now :[
I opened My Documents where I saved it and when I click on it.
A window opens up saying it doesn't know what program created it.


If you know where and how to download it properly please give me a link and a guide.

Your problem is you downloaded a disk image that contains the Mac version of photoshop cs2. You will not be able to use this version on your Windows PC. Instead try this link to get the Windows version:

*note this link will take you to adobe's website where you'll need to sign up for a free account in order to download the demo. Once you get to the download options make sure you choose the following: Photoshop CS2 English Windows 329.09mb then you'll start your download of a normal windows setup/install file.

You could try going to adobe.com and visiting there download section where you would go to Photoshop and choose to download there trial. However with Photoshop CS3's release just around the corner it seems they have removed their direct link to the CS2 30 day trial. I was able to download it using the link I posted above though. Hope this helps you!
