ENSURING YOUR HOST OFFERS DECENT TECHNICAL SUPPORT

It's the role of any reliable hosting firm to take full responsibility for its hardware, software and operating environment so that webmasters can focus solely upon running their business.

It is important that before you choose a specific web host, make sure you test the technical support of the company by asking questions related to your future transactions with them, e.g., if they have knowledge-based or technical support questions ready, check if the operator is knowledgeable about the company and its services. Also, check if they have good tracking and billing system by inquiring about it every now and then and see if they really have 24/7 technical support. The reliability and promptness of the responses must be considered when deciding to get a web host because technical support is very important.

good article - you WANT someone to be there when you need the help, not an automated system parroting back the guide!

So far, dh2.net (http://www.dh2.net) has been pretty good at getting back quickly when I have a question. I like good support. :)
