Do website host's take a share from your site?

I have just bought a domain name along with a new host for my new site, but scared that the company i am using www.websitepalace.com will take a share of my site if it made a lot of money.

Do you think this is true or could happen???

They cant legally take anything.

Unless, of course if you agreed that they could when you bought the domain.

This can only happen if they illegally misuse their access to your eCommerce programming. Not likely to happen, but always possible depending on the tech people that they employ. A reputable Host knows that word will spread throughout the net, requiring them to restructure and rename for their next victim. Check the net to see what their reputation is, something you should have already done before signing with them
