Mostly from 3:00 to 11:00 paris time. and sometimes the update might be extended like some hours. before you logon to your wow account you could read server info

That depends on what they are doing.

Back before the Burning Crusade, every Tuesday they would shut down all the servers from something like 3am to 11am. With Burning Crusade, they changed it so that they can do most maintenance with the servers up. When they are making drastic changes though, sometimes they have to bring the servers down.

For instance, last Tuesday my servers didn't come up at all because of the massive Wrath of the Lich King updates and troubleshooting that had to be done.

So... short answer... the servers will be down until they complete their maintenance.

UMM...anywhere from 3-5 hrs, expecet a litte more now bc of WOLK
