bigpond DNS (domain name server)?

im tyring to make a static ip but i need to know telstra bigponds DNS i have a 256k connection and i was wondering if any1 else knows what it is?? i would ring them up but its 12am and i dont feel like waiting
yes i have a dynamic ip and want a static ip i am using the instrictions from http://portforward.com/networking/static-xp.htm which says that i need the DNS

First, can you explain more about 'making a static IP' ? You may have a dynamic IP and would like to assign it to a static host name.

Which is the job of DNS.
