They had a deal where the first 300 people could buy a random tech item for 1 dollar starting at midnight eastern time. The site went down about 1155 eastern because (I think) they basically had a Denial of Service attack on themselves due to their servers not being able to handle the load. At around 1230 EST they managed to put up a message saying they were doing routine maintenance which is I think their standard Oh crap Button. Then at 1250 they got the site back up for about 15 seconds (I was playing see how many times we can refresh the site game) and since then its been down with no maintenance message or anything (my guess is they can't get on to manage it. All of their Sub domains still work but trying to get onto the main "www.razerzone.com" domain fails every time.
now at 0241 EST I got a message saying "loots all gone" when going to any razerzone.com domain. looks like they just changed their maintenance message to get people off their server... better luck next year. |
